When I was younger I used to have some big dreams

Had a long list of the things i envisioned

Lofty goals I was sure I'd accomplish

All those thing I lined up to check off the list

Finish school, buy a car, find a wife, get a plot

Settle down, have some kids and raise 'em up

Had it all figured out, ever detail written down

4 years of school picking up all the tools

Had that profession set in the sights

But two pivots later i'm happy as ever

And I've met all my daily faces
